The Inns of Court College of Advocacy, ICCA (formerly the ATC) returned to The Hague to deliver a third round of advocacy training hosted by Kamran Choudhury and Johann Soufi, founders of the Advocacy Club.
The course was held at the impressive International Criminal Court (ICC) building and was intense and fully packed. The participants arrived eager to learn and made a marked improvement in their advocacy despite, for many, English not being their first language. The training materials used were based on the case of Prosecutor v Rupert Hentzau written by HHJ Joanna Korner CMG QC. The materials introduced an additional Expert Witness element; this presented a welcome challenge and was greatly enjoyed.
We hope to return to the Hague to deliver further rounds of training in the future and look forward to a continued relationship with the Advocacy Club.
